Ⅰ. Material analysis
本節課是第八單元話題二的第三課時，是一節閱讀課，主要活動是1a和3。 通過閱讀關于旅行注意事項的短文，繼續學習提建議的表達方式“You should/shouldn’t...”，“Don’t go to...”還將通過談論旅行前和旅行中應該注意的事項，鞏固表示建議的句型；另外，還將提供一個相對真實的寫作任務，訓練學生利用信息構建一個表達建議的語篇的能力；語音板塊將學習輔音叢的讀音規則。
Ⅱ. Teaching aims 1. Knowledge aims
能夠根據已學語音、音標及發音規則，正確朗讀和拼寫下列詞匯：
prepare, share, fun, carry, decide, dangerous, stay 等； 能夠正確運用提出建議的表達方式，如： You should prepare well for it. You shouldn’t stay in the sun too long. Don’t go to dangerous places.
