II. Teaching aims 1.會(huì)詢(xún)問(wèn)有關(guān)身體健康的有關(guān)情況和提供建議。 2. 會(huì)處理常見(jiàn)的意外事件。 III. Important points 要求掌握以下句式:
What’s the matter (with sb.)?
Sb. has a headache/toothache/sore neck… What should he/she/you/we do? He/She/ You/We should (do sth.). What happened to sb.?
Sb. hurt one’s back/cut one’s finger/had a nosebleed. What should he/she do?
First, he/she should go to the hospital.
Then he/she should get an X-ray.
Finally, he/she should rest for a few days. IV. Difficult points:會(huì)按先后順序處理意外事故。 V. Teaching steps(教學(xué)步驟)
Step 1. Lead –in and revision.
1. Let’s the students sing an English song and act according to the song together .
2. Review some sentences about the last period.
Step 2. New class.
Let’s the students look at the pictures , ask and answer, and use the following sentences.
What’s the matter (with sb.)?
Sb. has a headache/toothache/sore neck… what should he/she do?
He/She/ You/We should (do sth.).
First, the teacher asks, the students answer. Next, read together. Then, let’s the Students ask and answer in pairs. Finally, ask some of the students to act out the conversation in class. And ask them to pay more attention to following expressions.
Sb. got hit on the head. Sb. had a nosebleed. Run it under water. Press the sides of your nose. Put your head down. Step 3. Work on 1a.
1. T: Now ,we have learned what to do with some accidents. Look at the three pictures in 1a, what accidents are they? When these accidents happen, What should you do? Put the actions in order. 2. Students do it. 3. Check the answers. Step 4. Work on 1b and 1c
T: Now, boys and girls, you have learned something about how to deal with accidents. Now let’s listen to a conversation. Try to catch what happened and what the treatments are. Try you best to finish 1b and 1c.

T: Now, class, for pairwork, I would like one student to be the nurse and the other to be the patient. Use the information in the textbook to role-play a conversation.
And then ask some of the students to act out their own dialogues in the front of the classroom. VI. Summary and exercises. 1. Make a summary.
2. Let’s the students do some exercises.
VII. Homework
1. Review the new words and expressions.
2. Write a short passage about the accidents happened in P.E. class.
