Do you like watching TV? What kinds of TV shows do you know? Let’s look and say. 
Step3: Guess    
Look at the screen, and Let’s play a guessing game. Picture 1: What do I think of game shows? Tow happy faces. Can you guess? Picture 2... Step4: Pair work    
Now, I want to know what you think of these TV shows. Please work in pairs. Ask and answer.  
Step5: Structures    
1) Can you find the rules or differences of them? Think it over, and discuss with your desk mate.Write the phrase: want to do sth. on the blackboard.    
2) If you are free tonight, what do you plan to watch? Do you know “plan”? What’s the meaning? What about “hope”? What does it mean? What do you plan to watch tonight? Can you find the rules or differences of them? Write the phrase: plan/hope to do sth. on the blackboard.    
3) What can you expect to learn from sitcoms?What’s the meaning of expect?I can learn some great jokes.What about other TV shows? What can you expect to learn from them? Please match the TV shows with the statements.  Step 6: 3a   
Look at 3a: Make a conversation and then practice it with your partner. Ask several pairs to show their dialogues.

Look at 3b, answer these questions, give answers that are true for you. Then ask and answer with your partner. Then ask several pairs to show it.
