Unit 1 Do you want to watch a game show? 
（Section A  1a—1c） 
一、教材分析 
本節課為Unit 1單元的第一課，以聽說為主，注重培養學生運用語言進行交際的能力。本節課采用學生自主互助型學習的方法，運用現代教學手段———多媒體進行教學，充分調動學生的積極參與，使課堂氣氛活躍，參與率高，以確保教學效果。 二、教學目標 1）知識目標： 
掌握本節課的重點單詞：news,  educational,  plan,  hope  重點短語：find out,  talk show(...show), plan to do sth  go on,  around the world  重點句型：--What do you think of ......?  
       --I love/don’t mind/can’t stand......  
2）能力目標：能聽懂簡單的對話并會用英語簡單表述關于電視節目的對話。  3）情感目標：培養愛好，并能處理好愛好與學習之間的關系。  三、教學重點與難點 教學重點： 
1) 學習掌握各類電視和電視節目的名稱。  2) 掌握動詞不定式結構做動詞的賓語。 教學難點： 
1.掌握動詞不定式結構做動詞的賓語；了解后面接動詞不定式做賓語的動詞。 
2.讓學生運用所學句型“What do you think of…?”對某一事物進行評價，并且學會談論計劃。 
四、教學環節 課堂導入 
1、Greeting and talking 
T: What do you like doing in your free time? S1:I like watching TV. 
T; What kind of TV shows do you like? S2:I like… 
T; OK. Today let’s talk about them together. 
設計意圖：通過師生問答詢問學生喜歡做的事情，為導入新課做準備。 播放一段《Running Man》的視頻，導入新課。 
設計意圖：充分調動學生的學習積極性，為下一步學習有關電視節目的話題做好鋪墊。 2、課堂講授 
利用多媒體圖片呈現本課時的詞匯soap opera,sitcom,news,educational,plan,hope.  For example:

 S1:Yao Ming is playing basketball. 
T: You are right. We call it a sports show. Do you like sports shows?                   S1:Yes,I do. But my father doesn’t mind them. My mother can’t stand them.

S1: I can’t stand them. They are too long. Listening 
(聽前讓學生充分了解聽力要求和所給的詞匯提示。)

5.課堂小結 
本課時主要學習了新詞匯soap, soap  operta, sitcom stand, mind和句型Do you want to watch the news? Yes, I do./No, I don’t. What do you think of talk shows? I love them./I can’t stand them. Why do you like watching the news? Because I hope to find out what’s going on around the world..... 呈現一些人們經常觀看的電視節目 6 、作業布置 
1.找一些自己喜歡的電視主持人或喜歡的電視演員的圖片。 
2.根據表格內容，用英語寫一篇不少于80字的短文，要求條理 清楚。

六、教學反思 
為了使所有學生都能有一個思考的過程，我改進了以往所用的小組合作學習，采用先讓學生課前預習，再進行同桌或小組交流的形式，自主互助型課堂教學模式，并在學生獨立思考時，留給足夠的時間。課堂的時間是有限的，也是寶貴的，但是我們不能因為時間的寶貴而剝奪學生該有的時間。
