【教學過程】 Step 1. Lead-in
Watch a short video and talk about some teenage problems Step 2. Presentation and practice
1. Read Millie’s and Simon’s letters to conclude the following reading skills: 1) Predicting: topic and new words
2) Skimming: the structure of the passage
3) Scanning: the important information---an out-line map
4) Expressing: opinion(s)
2. Read another reading material to use the reading skills.
3. Sum up the ways to solve the teenage problems. Step 3. Group work
To give some advice to one of the students Step
4. Homework
1、Retell the two letters to your classmates.
2、Write a letter about your problem(s) and ask for help to your teacher. 【教學反思】
成功之處：本節課重點在于教會學生Predicting、Skimming、Scanning、Expressing四個閱讀技能并能及時訓練。在文本處理時，適時教會學生一些解決青少年問題的途徑，讓他們學會自強、包容和換位思考。總體上教學目標基本上達成。
不足之處：談論青少年問題時，談論他人問題較多，沒有涉及學生自己問題。
