教學(xué)目標(biāo)
一.知識(shí)目標(biāo):
1. 能理解、掌握對(duì)話內(nèi)容,能用正確的語(yǔ)音語(yǔ)調(diào)朗讀對(duì)話,并初步表演對(duì)話。
2. 能正確運(yùn)用日常交際用語(yǔ):What makes our city dirty? …make(s)…
What can we do to keep our city clean? We can …
3. 能聽(tīng)懂、會(huì)說(shuō)、會(huì)讀單詞及詞組:keep, make, clean, dirty, rubbish, dead, move…away from…, put…in…, plant more trees
二.能力目標(biāo):
1. 能正確、流利地朗讀課文,整體理解語(yǔ)篇。
2. 能靈活運(yùn)用所學(xué)詞匯和句型談?wù)摮鞘械沫h(huán)境問(wèn)題。
三.情感目標(biāo):能理解并認(rèn)識(shí)保護(hù)環(huán)境的重要性以及該采取的措施。
2學(xué)情分析
作為六年級(jí)的學(xué)生,經(jīng)過(guò)三年多的新教材學(xué)習(xí),大部分學(xué)生對(duì)英語(yǔ)仍然保持著濃厚的興趣,但有一部分學(xué)生由于種種原因,學(xué)習(xí)沒(méi)有那么扎實(shí)了。因此,在教學(xué)中,我本著以培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的創(chuàng)新精神和實(shí)踐能力為重點(diǎn),面向全體學(xué)生,在激發(fā)學(xué)生興趣的同時(shí),扎扎實(shí)實(shí)地從每個(gè)學(xué)生抓起。在以活動(dòng)為課堂教學(xué)的主要形式的同時(shí),充分發(fā)揮任務(wù)性教學(xué)在高年級(jí)的優(yōu)化使用,設(shè)計(jì)豐富多彩的教學(xué)活動(dòng)和有效的教學(xué)任務(wù)。同時(shí)注意到學(xué)生中存在的兩極分化,教學(xué)內(nèi)容注意由簡(jiǎn)到難,循序漸進(jìn),在知識(shí)的復(fù)現(xiàn)中做好及時(shí)補(bǔ)差工作。重視英語(yǔ)作為語(yǔ)言的交際功能。

重點(diǎn):能理解課文內(nèi)容,能正確運(yùn)用句型:What makes our city dirty? …make(s)… What can we do to keep our city clean? We can … 進(jìn)行問(wèn)答。

4.1第一課時(shí)
4.1.1教學(xué)活動(dòng)
活動(dòng)1【導(dǎo)入】一:Pre-task Preparation (10 minutes)
1. Greetings.
T greets with the Ss as usual: Good morning, boys and girls.
(拉近師生距離)
2. Play a game.
T presents some pictures on PPT, let the Ss try to ask a question according to the pictures. →(What did Miss Li do last Saturday?)
(老師在PPT上呈現(xiàn)幾幅圖片,讓學(xué)生通過(guò)圖片來(lái)嘗試問(wèn)問(wèn)題。給學(xué)生以一種形式上的新鮮感,又自然引出后面的教學(xué)內(nèi)容。)
3. Review the signs.
①After giving some other pictures, let the Ss try to get the answer. →Miss Li watched a film.
②T tells the Ss, in the cinema, Miss Li saw some signs. Invite the Ss to review the signs together. And while reviewing, teach something new.
No littering → teach the new word ‘rubbish’
No smoking → teach the new meaning of the word ‘smoke’, and lead out the phrases ‘smoke from cars’ ‘black smoke from factories’
(以舊知帶新知,讓學(xué)生在復(fù)習(xí)標(biāo)志的過(guò)程中學(xué)習(xí)課文中的新單詞及已知單詞的新含義。)
4. Watch the film
①Let the Ss watch the film that Miss Li watched last Saturday and lead out the sentence ‘Keep the water clean!’
②We study at school, so we should keep our school clean.
We live in Su Zhou, so we should keep our city clean.
(短片熱身,激發(fā)興趣,并為后面引出課題做好鋪墊。并及時(shí)進(jìn)行德育情感教育,教育學(xué)生保護(hù)環(huán)境。)
活動(dòng)2【講授】二:While-task Procedures (20 minutes)
Pre-reading:
1. Watch and choose
① Let the Ss watch the video of U6 and try to find out ‘How is the city?’
A: clean and tidy B: dirty and messy
(引導(dǎo)學(xué)生觀看課文視頻,初步感知文本。)
teach the new words ‘dirty ’ (thirty→ dirty) ‘messy’(me/ssy)
(在教授新單詞時(shí),注重對(duì)學(xué)生的引導(dǎo)和遷移,并指導(dǎo)學(xué)生通過(guò)自然拼讀法讀出新單詞。)
2. Listen and tick
Guide the students to find the cause of the mess city. Let the Ss listen to the dialogues on page58 and try to find out ‘What makes our city dirty and messy?’
①→ smoke from cars
②→ Black smoke from factories
③→ Rubbish
(請(qǐng)學(xué)生仔細(xì)聽(tīng)課文對(duì)話并試著勾出導(dǎo)出城市臟亂的原因。)
While-reading:
1. Read and say
①Let the Ss read the dialogues on page 58 and try to talk in details.
What makes the air/streets/river dirty?
( hair/chair→air )( Air is something everybody needs. We can’t see it. We can’t catch it. But we really need it.)
(用學(xué)生已知的hair/chair引出air的發(fā)音,再用簡(jiǎn)短易懂的語(yǔ)句向?qū)W生解釋air的含義。)
②Guide the Ss to express the cause of the mess city using the sentence pattern “ makes dirty.”
(通過(guò)前面的環(huán)節(jié),學(xué)生對(duì)于城市變臟的原因已經(jīng)有了初步的印象,在細(xì)讀課文的過(guò)程中,再次加深印象,到輸出環(huán)節(jié),讓學(xué)生運(yùn)用新句型來(lái)不斷鞏固練習(xí),水到渠成。)
2. Watch and understand
①Invite the Ss to have a look at the pollution in our city. And think about the results they’ve brought for us.
The air is dirty→air pollution
The streets are dirty→land pollution
The river is dirty→water pollution
∟ “What do they bring us?”
More and more plants and trees are dead.
More and more animals are dead.
As for our people, we’ve got more and more disease.
And every year, more and more people are dead because of the pollution.
→teach the word ‘dead’ naturally.
(在引導(dǎo)學(xué)生觀察各種污染圖片的過(guò)程中,教師及時(shí)進(jìn)行總結(jié),并通過(guò)動(dòng)植物的死亡及人類的疾病給學(xué)生以感悟,理解dead的含義。)
②Let the Ss try to think about what we can do to save our environment.
(引導(dǎo)學(xué)生思考如何保護(hù)環(huán)境。)
3. Read and underline
Let the Ss read the dialogues on page59 in groups of five and underline the suggestions the Ss have.
∟take the bus and the metro to school
walk to school
move some factories away from our city
put rubbish in the bin
plant more trees
→PPT present some pictures to help the Ss understand the phrases.
(小組自讀書(shū)本59頁(yè)的對(duì)話,讓學(xué)生在小組合作中劃出書(shū)中人物對(duì)于保護(hù)城市環(huán)境的建議。PPT及時(shí)呈現(xiàn)相關(guān)圖片,讓教師對(duì)于此些詞組的解釋更通俗易懂。)
Post-reading:
1. Listen and repeat
Invite the Ss to read the text sentence by sentence.
★Change the way of reading together, let the Ss listen carefully and try to repeat, if they think it's an easy sentence, they can read just one time; if they think it's a difficult one, they should read more.
(改變“聽(tīng)錄音、齊讀”的常規(guī)方式,讓學(xué)生在仔細(xì)聽(tīng)的基礎(chǔ)上,根據(jù)自己的實(shí)際情況來(lái)跟讀。在此過(guò)程中,照顧到不同層次的學(xué)生,給予分層輔導(dǎo)。)
2. Read in roles
Invite the Ss to read in roles.
(角色朗讀,再次鞏固課文。)
3. Retell the text.
①Let the Ss close the books and just look at the blackboard, and try to retell the text together with T.
②Divide the retelling into two parts. And then invite the Ss to choose one part to have a try. Encourage the Ss to use their own language or more words to retell the text.
Practice in pairs. → Have a performance.
(引導(dǎo)學(xué)生根據(jù)黑板上的關(guān)鍵詞來(lái)復(fù)述課文,檢測(cè)學(xué)生對(duì)于課堂知識(shí)的掌握并鍛煉學(xué)生的口語(yǔ)表達(dá)能力。將復(fù)述內(nèi)容一分為二,任由學(xué)生選擇其中一部分進(jìn)行復(fù)述,降低了復(fù)述難度,給所有的學(xué)生以嘗試的信心。鼓勵(lì)學(xué)生用自己的語(yǔ)言或加內(nèi)容復(fù)述文本,激活舊知,培養(yǎng)學(xué)生靈活運(yùn)用所學(xué)知識(shí)的能力。)
活動(dòng)3【活動(dòng)】三.Post-task Activities (10 minutes)
1. Think and judge.
Lead the Ss think it over and try to judge the pictures whether they are the correct ways of protecting the environment or the wrong ways.
◆Module education:
To keep our city clean and tidy we can do so many things. But we can’t do those things.
(情感教育,提醒學(xué)生哪些行為可以保護(hù)環(huán)境,我們需要多做。而哪些行為又會(huì)破壞環(huán)境,我們不應(yīng)該做。)
2. Give some suggestions.
①Invite the Ss to take out the leaf paper and try to write down their own suggestions.
②Share the suggestions. (Tell the suggestions to someone else and then stick it onto the blackboard.)
(引導(dǎo)學(xué)生用所學(xué)句型We can…/ We can’t…在樹(shù)葉形的小紙片上寫(xiě)下自己對(duì)于保護(hù)城市環(huán)境的建議,并在分享建議后將小樹(shù)葉粘貼到黑板上去。原本黑板上那棵光禿禿的樹(shù)在小樹(shù)葉的裝飾下變得郁郁蔥蔥,這也讓學(xué)生感受到了自己努力帶來(lái)的快樂(lè)。)
3. Module education:
Better city, better life! We should start from now. Start from me!
(情感教育。城市使生活更美好!從現(xiàn)在做起,從我做起!)
活動(dòng)4【作業(yè)】四.Assignment
1. Design a poster.
(The topic may be: Keep the school clean! Keep the park clean! …)
2. Use your own way to advertise the poster!
(語(yǔ)用輸出,鍛煉學(xué)生的寫(xiě)作及口語(yǔ)表達(dá)能力。)
