本單元的語(yǔ)言目標(biāo)是用比較級(jí)談?wù)摷胰伺c朋友的異同。本節(jié)課著重在前期詞、句學(xué)習(xí)的基礎(chǔ)上通過(guò)活動(dòng)、話題、練習(xí)和寫(xiě)作等方式，進(jìn)行篇章的學(xué)習(xí)。為了增強(qiáng)課堂的代入感，以錄像、活動(dòng)、任務(wù)、小組合作等形式貫穿始終。 
學(xué)習(xí)語(yǔ)言最終就是要表達(dá)自己的思想，與他人進(jìn)行交流。通過(guò)情景創(chuàng)設(shè)，為學(xué)生創(chuàng)設(shè)說(shuō)英語(yǔ)的語(yǔ)言環(huán)境，從而鍛煉學(xué)生綜合運(yùn)用語(yǔ)言的能力，增強(qiáng)了學(xué)習(xí)外語(yǔ)的自信心。

Step 3  Fast Reading 
T:  Should a friend be the same or different?     What do you think of it ? S: …same / different/ don‟t care Show the picture  
T: There are three people here, they are Geff Green , Huang Lei and  Mary Smith . What do they think of it ? Let‟s read 3a and get the main idea.  
Ss read 3a and tell the answers . 
S: Geff Green thinks the friend should be the same . Huang Lei thinks the friend can be different. Mary Smith doesn‟t care it at all. 
T: So wen can see different people have different ideas , but they all have their own good friends.   
Step 4  Detail Reading 
1. Read Passage1 and answer the questions . Chek the answer and try to say it out. Read 3a together. 
T: If my friend is the same as me .I can say something about myself and then say „My friend is the same as me”. 
So Geff thinks the friend should be the same and he also thinks “A friend is like a mirror and books , but we don‟t need a lot of them as well as they are good”. 
Geff  thanks friends can be the same as him ,what about Huang Lei   
2. Read Passage2and fill in the chart  Tell the answers in groups  
Retell this part according to the chart.  
Watch a video and try to understand “bring out the best in …” 
T: A friend is just beside you , when you are in trouble or meet challenges they can encourage you to try your best , help you out and get over all your difficulties.  
3. Read Passage 3 and complete the sentences. Complete the sentences  Read with the tape. Try to retell the part . 
較級(jí)提供語(yǔ)言環(huán)境。同時(shí)利用這個(gè)環(huán)節(jié)進(jìn)行比較級(jí)的回顧和練習(xí)。        
此環(huán)節(jié)旨在引導(dǎo)學(xué)生快速閱讀，迅速抓住文章大意，學(xué)會(huì)提取關(guān)鍵信息。  
   
        
發(fā)揮學(xué)生的主動(dòng)性，以回答問(wèn)題、完成表格、填空等任務(wù)閱讀的方式引導(dǎo)學(xué)生對(duì)篇章進(jìn)行深層理解和領(lǐng)悟，明確學(xué)習(xí)目標(biāo)，更好的把握語(yǔ)言要義，利用小組合作形式開(kāi)展對(duì)話、復(fù)述等活動(dòng)更好地進(jìn)行鞏固練習(xí)。小組合作也加強(qiáng)同學(xué)之前的互助，同時(shí)也印證了文章的主旨：朋友之間應(yīng)當(dāng)互相幫助、共同進(jìn)步，體現(xiàn)了英語(yǔ)教育的德育目標(biāo)。

Step 5  Conclusion 
T: We learn a lot about friends , can you tell me what a friend is? A good friend is like a mirror.  
Friends are like books—you don’t need a lot of them as long as（只要） they’re good. Try to make your own sayings . Discuss in groups  
A good friend is like a candy. Because candy is sweet. 
A good friend is like Youlemei(優(yōu)樂(lè)美). Because I can hold it in my hand. 
Show the sayings of the students.  
Step 6 Writing 
Explain how to write 
T: Same---Say something about me and my friend is the same as me  
Different ---Make a comparison  Don‟t care ---Make a description 
A saying is a good way to polish your writing. Write a passage about your best friend. 
Exchange the passages and choose the best one in the group , show it in front of the class.  
Step 7  End 
T: Friends are like stars , you can‟t always see them , but they are always there . Good times and good friends can make best memories.
