To know the requirements of a piece of good writing in the final exam. Ability aim： 
To be able to write an article that is up to the standards of the final exam according to the material given. Moral aim： 
To have a taste of the beauty of Chinese traditional culture and cultivate cultural identity and national pride. 
2．學習內容與重難點分析 
Training for writing is an important part in the revision period.. How can students write a standard article of high quality? What is the macro structure of the article? What is the micro connection of sentences? Should they only use single sentence pattern? Is there the variety of vocabulary? All of these questions are going to dealt with in this lesson.

四、教學流程設計 
I、Lead-in 
1. Enjoy pictures of our hometown and guess Chinese poems according to the English translation.  
2.Watch a video and then tell what the people in the video are doing. 
Teacher’s activities：show the material in the PPT and ask questions to lead  to the topic. 
Students’ activities: Watch the pictures and videos and answer questions. Multimedia: PPT and short video II、Brainstorm 
Make as many Chinese phrases as possible with“文”。 
Teacher’s activities：Give hints to students for them to summarise the meaning of a Chinese word with “文”。 
Students’ activities: Summarise the meaning of a Chinese word with “文”。  Multimedia: PPT  
III、Analise 5 constituents of civilisation by remembering some traditional Chinese classics and writing sentences by using the key points. 
1. Benevolence(仁)：  
Key points: connectives: 
a.表并列：and, both…and…, as well as… b.表轉折：but,  however,  although… 
c.表遞進： not only… but also…, what’s more… d.表選擇：or, either… or… 
e.表因果：because(because of),  so,  thanks to…, as  a result… f.表文章結構：first，second，finally… 2. Righteousness(義)

3. Manners（禮） 4. Wisdom(智)： 
(1) Key points：clauses（從句） 
a.賓語從句: I’m sure/ believe/hope/think/suggest that… b.定語從句：a person who/that…，a thing  which/that… c.狀語從句： 
（a）表時間：  when, as  soon as… （d）表條件：if， as long as… （b）表目的：so that…             （e）表讓步：even though, even if… （c）表結果： so…that… 5. Belief（信） 
Belief in our traditional culture. 
Teacher’s activities：Show the English translation of famous Chinese poems and point out the key points in a good writing.. 
Students’ activities: Guess the Chines poems and write down their own ideas about each constituents of civilization. 
Multimedia: PPT and short video. 
IV. The criteria for a piece of good writing. 1. Three paragraphs 
2. Pay attention to using right tense ,connectives,  clauses,  variety of vocabulary.
