   通過前面四個課時的學習，尤其是第1課時的listening and speaking，學生對本單元的話題Astronomy: the science of the stars已有一定了解，通過第2課時reading practice進一步豐富了一些有關天文學的信息和知識，也激活了學生的思維，為本節課進行短文的閱讀和理解以及寫作奠定了基礎。  2.2 Knowledge reserve知識儲備 
Students know some knowledge about astronomy. They also know some famous ideas about the gravity.What are learned in former periods gets Ss interested in the topic of this period. 
 2.3 Class data本班實際: students have learnt something about astronomy,especially something about the solar system.They are interested in it 3. Teaching methods教法建議

 Step IV  Reading  
 Fast reading: Read the passage quickly, finish the true or false questions:  Detailed reading: Read the passage carefully and find out some detailed information    Step V  Discussion  Group work 
   If you could visit the moon 
1. What would you like to take with? Give some examples. 2. What problems might you meet with? 
3. To solve these problems, what things must you take? Reference:  
If I had the chance to visit the moon,   I might take ... I might  have  problems such as... 
The first one is···· Because ···· To solve this problem, I would take····with me. The second one is ····  
 
(Get Ss to discuss possible solutions to the problems, and then show their discussions.) 
 Step V I   Writing task 
 Write something about your visit to the moon,  including  things to take, problems you might meet with and how you would solve them. 
巧用單元語法和句型
