Make predictions about your future, and try your best to make your dreams come true.
2.1.2學(xué)時(shí)重點(diǎn)
Key words and phrases: apartment, astronaut, rocket, space station, paper, pollution, prediction, future, pollute, environment, planet, earth, plant, train, play a part The target language: Where do you live? I live in an apartment. Where did you live? I live in a flat. Where will you live? I will live on a space station.

1) To be able to describe personal life in the future with the simple future tense: will + do 2) To learn some words of jobs, address and transportation. 3) To be able to read the passage of the future life, and can predict the future and express your own ideas.

活動(dòng)1【講授】Unit7 Will people have robots
Teaching steps Step I. Warming-up 1. Greet the whole class. 2. Lead-in: T: let us talk about the predictions in the future. T: I am an English teacher. Do you know other jobs? Please say it out. Ask: “What will you want to be in the future? ” And I will give some pictures of jobs. S: I will be a/an … T: Well done. This class we’ll continue to learn the Simple Future Tense. Do you know Yang Liwei ? What does he do? Where does he live on the earth ?Where does he work? How does he go to work? Step II. Presentation 1. Learn some new words and phrases by themselves. 宇航員 n. ____________ 公寓套房 n. ____________ 火箭 n. ____________ 太空,空間 n. ____________ 空間站 ____________ 2. Pair work Look at some pictures and let students review the lessons in Section A by making conversations with their partner. A:What will the future be like? B:I think we won’t use money. Step III. Exercises 1. Look at the form and read the headings to the class. Write each word in the correct column in 1a. Then check the answers. 2. Think of other words and write them in the chart in 1b. Step IV. Listening Listen to three conversations between Alexis and Joe. What are they talking about? Listen carefully and then do the tasks. 1. Look at the pictures and the guess what we’ll listen? Talk about them .Listen to the tape and then number the pictures in 1c. 2. Do some language points in order to understand the listening part better. 3. The conversations are talking about Joe 10 years ago, today and in 10 years. Listen again and then fill in the blanks with the correct verbs in the box in 1d. Then check the answers and read it together. 5. Group work Look at some pictures and talk about them in your group. You can use the sample sentences below: Step V. Sample Writing 1. Write a short passage about yourself. There is a sample writing for you. First of all, let a student try to translate the passage. 2. Then translate it and read together. Step VI. Practice 1. Do more exercise and then let them check answers. 2. Writing: write about your life in 20 years. 3. Check their passages. Step VII. Summary We have learned some words and we practice the dialogue by listening and writing. You have practiced more to express your prediction of the future by using the Simple Future Tense. Step VIII. Homework 1. Remember the key words and phrases by heart. 2. Write a short passage and predict your future of life .
