一、教學(xué)目標(biāo): 1. 語言知識目標(biāo):
1) 能掌握以下單詞:friendly, shy, lazy, beautiful, cute, scary, smart 2) 能掌握以下句型:
① —What animal do you like? —I like elephants. ②--I like pandas because they are...
3) 通過聽說訓(xùn)練來掌握提高學(xué)生們綜合聽說能力。 2. 情感態(tài)度價(jià)值觀目標(biāo):
動物和人類都生活在同一地球上,動物是我們的朋友。我們?nèi)祟悜?yīng)該與動物和諧相處,共同生存。我們應(yīng)當(dāng)學(xué)會關(guān)愛動物,保護(hù)動物。 二、教學(xué)重難點(diǎn) 1. 教學(xué)重點(diǎn):
1) 讓學(xué)生們進(jìn)行聽、說的訓(xùn)練來掌握更多動物的名稱及描述特性的形容詞。 2) 讓學(xué)生能夠自主表達(dá)自己喜歡的動物。 2. 教學(xué)難點(diǎn)
1) 進(jìn)行聽力訓(xùn)練,提高學(xué)生們聽對話獲取相關(guān)信息的能力。

2)進(jìn)行小組合作訓(xùn)練,提高學(xué)生的口語表達(dá)能力。 三、教學(xué)過程
Ⅰ. Warming- up and revision 1. Greet the Ss as usual. Ⅱ. Presentation
1.Show a map of the zoo, ask students “Do you want to the zoo?” “What animals do you like ? Why do you like them?
2. Show some pictures on the big screen and teach Ss the new words. e.g. Show some pictures, let Ss know the description words. 2. Let Ss read aloud the words and expressions. 3. Give Ss some time and read aloud the words. Ⅲ. Learning
1. Pay attention to the animals in the picture in 1a and ask a student to say the name of each one.
2. Point out the list of eight numbered adjectives below.
T: Now please match the adjectives with the animals in the picture. Write the letter of the animal on the line after the adjective. Point out the sample answer.
3. As students work, move around the room offering to answer questions as needed.
4. Correct the answers. Ⅳ.Practice
Let the students talk about “What animals do they like? Why?

Eg. I like pandas because they are…
I don’t like tigers because they are… V. Listening Work on 1b:
1. T: Now I will play a recording of a conversation between Tony and Maria. This time circle the adjectives you hear on the list for la. 2. Ss listen and try to circle the adjectives in 1a. 3. Ask some Ss to check the answers. Work on 1c:
1. Call attention to the three headings. Animal, Maria's Words and Tony's Words, and the write-on lines under each.
2. Say, Now I will play the recording again. This time please write the name of the animals each person talks about and the words they say.
3. Play the whole recording and have students write the words they hear on the chart.
5. Check the answers. Ⅵ. Pair work
1. Call attention to the dialogue next to the picture. Ask two students to read it to the class.
2. Say, Work in pairs. Use sentences like these to say what you think about different animals.
3. Ss work in pairs to make their own conversations. As they work, move around the room checking on progress.
4. Ask some pairs to present their conversations to the class.

Ⅶ. Exercise
Let the students finish off the class exercise. Homework
1.Describe your favorite animals and write down. 2.Search what animals are in great danger.
