帶歌曲故事課 Emma’s new room 的教學設計
一、 教材分析:
外研社版Join In是依據教育部《義務教育英語課程標準》的教育理念和教育目標要求,吸納現代外語教育在非英語國家對少年兒童實施英語教學的研究成果,并根據我國小學英語教育的實際,由外語教學與研究出版社和英國劍橋大學出版社合作開發的一套小學三年級起點的英語教材。
本教材特別注重少年兒童認知系統與心理機制的開發,力圖讓小學生的各種外顯的語言學習活動與智能開發以及綜合語言運用能力培養的優化整合過程,從而實現小學英語教育人文性和工具性的統一。其中教材1、2冊依據《義務教育英語課程標準》一級教學目標要求設計,而2冊即三年級下冊的Unit 2 The days of the week 中配歌曲的故事課Emma’s new room,內容以一周的七天為時間線索,圖文并茂、繪聲繪色地描述了Emma’s room的變化,畫面色彩的亮麗和人物感情的跌宕,吸引激發著同學們的閱讀興趣,也啟發老師創設情境、鼓勵創新。
二、學情分析:
三年級學生極具有好奇心,愛表現、善模仿;他們的記憶力好,模仿力棒、可塑性強;他們學習英語積極性高,聽說普遍強于讀寫能力、規范做題技巧需努力。
雖已初步熟悉聽說和游戲任務,但理性邏輯思維力不高、向師性強。在老師的情境創設、啟發提問和高效課堂設計下,更能流利操練和運用英語。三年級下學期的學生在校已接觸英語半年,關于顏色和寵物的詞匯已掌握、名詞單復數概念基本形成,但是關于a+colour+pet的固定搭配以及動詞在第三人稱單數做主語句中的情境運用仍然是重難點。
三、教學目標: (一)知識與技能:
1、能看圖聽懂故事,感知Emma’s room 的變化。
2、在圖文或場景提示下,運用Open your eyes./Close your eyes。 3、會聽說favourite colour/hate/like,并理解故事角色對顏色的喜好。
4、掌握關于a+colour+pet的固定搭配,并嘗試將墻壁上的畫描述和歌唱出來。 5、 初步感知動詞在第三人稱單數做主語句中的情境運用,嘗試用句型She paints _____on .說一說Emma 做的事情并有節奏地跟唱歌曲。
(二)過程與方法:
1、帶歌曲的故事教學,通過歌曲重點操練關于a+colour+pet的固定搭配來描述墻壁上的圖畫,并整體感知句型She paints _____on .的用法。
2、情境創設講授法,并結合角色扮演,真實體驗故事場景和人物情感,學會正確地表達自己對顏色的喜好和對家人的關愛。
3、倡導發展性和激勵性評價理念,鼓勵自主合作探究的學習方式。敢于嘗試有感情模仿創編故事和歌曲,在活動中充分發揮主體積極性,保持良好的競爭與合作關系。
(三)情感態度與價值觀:
1、學會正確有效地與伙伴們表達交流自己對顏色的喜好,學會如何真正關心幫助他人。
2、充分調動各種感官、積極發展多元智能,在聽說唱演等游戲環節加深對英語學習的喜愛。
四、教學重難點: (一)教學重點:

3、在活動中真實體驗故事場景和人物情感,學會正確地表達自己對顏色的喜好和對家人的關愛。
五、教具準備:
PPT、單詞卡片、功能句型貼條、有關寵物圖卡、故事人物頭套、色卡、小組練習紙、小組評價板、英語課本。
六、教學過程: Step1. Warming up
1.Greeting& TPR Song
T: Class begins! Good afternoon, boys and girls. Ss: Good afternoon, Miss Feng.
T: Firstly, let’s sing a song and move our bodies.
(Following the video the days of the week, students sing and dance with the words-Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.) 2. Think and say: How many days are there in a week? What are they? T: Now, who can answer my questions-
How many days are there in a week? What are they?
S1: There are seven days in a week. They are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
T: Great! Sit down! One star for you!
T:(Look around and pretend to miss the word cards of the days of the week.)Monday, where are you? Tuesday? Wednesday?
S2: Monday is here! S3: Tuesday is here! S4: Wednesday is here!
T: OK! Come here and help me stick them onto the blackboard.
(the same way to review Thursday, Friday, Saturday and invite 3 volunteers to help present the first part of the blackboard.)
Tips: The key lines have been drawn on the blackboard before, so the effect of students’ help would be acceptable.
Step2. Presentation& Practice
1. Introduce the room and main characters-Emma, Emma’s dad and Emma’s mum. T: Look, what’s this? Ss: It’s a room. T: Who is she? Ss: Emma! T: Who is he? Ss: Emma’s dad! T: Who is she? Ss: Emma’s mum! T: Whose room is it? Ss: Emma’s room.
T: What happens to Emma’s room? Listen carefully, and then answer me 3 questions.
2. Listen for the first 4 pictures and learn the first part of the story. Listen and answer:1—4pictures (1)Who paints Emma’s room pink? (2)Why does dad paint pink? (3)Does Emma likes pink? A. Learn the word paint
T:Look, this is paint, and this is draw.
B. Learn the sentence Pink is my favourite colour. And learn the sentence I hate pink! T: What colour do you like? S: I like……

C. Role play picture 1-4.
T: Ok! Let’s read it together. Now follow it!
T: Now it’s your turn. One is Emma, and one is Emma’s dad. (Invite 2-3 groups to show )
D. If you are Emma’s dad, what would you do? A or B?
3. Listen for the last 4 pictures and learn the second part of the story. T: OK. Let’s go back to the story. What does Emma do? (Encourage more creative answers.)
A. Free talk about the question What does Emma do? B. Learn the things Emma does in the story.
T: Look. Monday is red, and there’s a red budgie on the wall. So we can say: Emma paints a red budgie on Monday. A) Paint v.s. paints

C. Group work: Finish the handout and talk about the things. T: Let’s practice in groups. Are you ready? Go! (3-5 minutes)

Step4. Summary & Homework
