Do you think you will have your own robot? 教學設計 一、教學目標 1. 知識目標
（1）能掌握human, disagree, shape, possible, impossible,believe, factory, servant, over and over again 等生詞； （2）能夠通過閱讀了解機器人發展的有關知識； （3）能熟練運用一般將來時來描繪未來的機器人； 2. 能力目標
（1）能夠根據圖片和文章標題預測文章內容； （2）能夠快速找出文章中心句并理解文章大意。 3. 情感目標
通過本節課的學習鼓勵學生發揮想象，展望未來，樹立積極的理想信念并為之不斷努力。 二、教學重難點
讀懂文章并了解有關機器人的發展，同時能熟練運用一般將來時描述自己設計的未來機器人。 三、教學過程 （一）Warm-up
教師在黑板畫機器人簡筆圖的部分，讓學生猜測所畫內容，導出本課時話題：robot. 同時，在猜測過程中完成shape,human, disagree等生詞的教學。 （二）Presentation
1. Before Reading
學生觀察文章配圖并朗讀文章標題，預測文章內容并做出選擇：
Q：What is the passage probably about? A: It’s about the history of robots. B: It’s about robots in the future. 2. Fast Reading
（1）學生快速閱讀文章，將每一自然段與所討論的問題連線。 （2）教師引導學生找出各段中的關鍵句來說明為什么這樣選。 3. Careful Reading （以逐段完成表格形式整體呈現）
教師設計表格，讓學生逐段仔細閱讀，然后回答問題，繼而用學生答案的關鍵詞來不斷補充表格內容，形成一條主線。 Do you think you will have your own robot? Para.1 Robots in the movies Para.2 Robots today

(1) 閱讀para1,回答以下問題：
Q1: What are robots usually like in the movies? Q2: Why are they like human servants? (2) 欣賞一段視頻并閱讀para.2,回答以下問題：
Q1: Where do robots work today? Q2: What can robots do ? (3) 閱讀para.3, 回答以下問題：
Q: Will robots think like humans? What are the different opinions of the scientists? (要求學生找出相應句子來證明自己的答案） (4) 閱讀para.4, 回答以下問題：
Q1: How long will it take to see more robots? Q2: What will robots look like in the future?
Q3: What do robots look like in India? What can they do? 4. After Reading
(1) 讀完文章后，再引導學生思考并回答：Does the writer think people will have their own robot? 要求學生找出文中句子來說明。 (2) 逐段復述課文
教師呈現各段有關的圖片及關鍵詞，讓學生自己組織語言復述各段主要內容并展示。 5. Group Work
學生小組討論，在導學單上設計并畫一個自己小組心目中的未來機器人，并用所給的句型框架來具體描述自己的機器人長什么樣，會做什么。最后在實物投影儀上展示。 （三）Homework
Show the robot of your group to your parents and tell them what the robot can do .
