2學情分析
1. Most students are active in class, but some students are not so confident and they are afraid of making mistakes ,so some of them don't dare    to speak in class.
2. Some students have difficulty in reading some new words and most students have trouble in retelling the passage in their own words, they
    need more practice to improve their expressing ability. 
3重點難點
1.  Ss will master the key words and phrases;
2.  Ss can tell their changes in different aspects.

活動1【導入】I.　warming　up
1: Look at some pictures about China’s changes in the past and now.
   Everything changes . People sure change.
Free talk: Say something about your changes in appearances, personalities or hobbies
設計意圖:通過歌曲激情導入,引導學生練習自己的變化,并讓學生更好地應用并掌握I used to ________ but now I ____________.結構
 
活動2【活動】Ⅱ.Fast　Reading　
1. Look at the title and picture, can you guess what this passage is about ?
 A girl’s hobbies.
 A girl’s school life.
 A girl’s experience(經(jīng)歷).
設計意圖:掌握閱讀技巧:根據(jù)所給圖片和標題,預測文章內容
2、Tell Ss to read the article and identify the paragraphs in which the following information appears. Number the information [1-3].
Para. 1                how Candy’s life has changed
Para. 2                Candy’s advice to young people
Para. 3                Candy’s background(背景)
Ss read the article quickly and try to number the information. 
設計意圖:掌握閱讀技巧:把握主題句,概括段落大意。

  Ss read the passage first, and work in groups to find the right answers. Only answer in oral English.

 設計意圖:從略讀到細讀,抓住文章細節(jié)并利用上下文對詞義的猜測,了解文章大意,理清文章脈絡,從表面的理解到深層的理解,培養(yǎng)學生快  速閱讀文本找尋信息的能力。
活動4【活動】IV.　Consolidation.
1. Listen to the tape carefully, read aloud and then work in groups to retell the passage.
