一、教學(xué)分析： 1. 教材： 
本課題選自人教版2011新課標(biāo)九年級(jí)全冊(cè)Unit 4 I used to be afraid of the dark Section B (1a-1e)部分。 2. 教學(xué)目標(biāo) — 核心素養(yǎng)四維目標(biāo) A. 語言能力： 
a. 生詞： ant, insect. 句型：used to… 
b. 通過聽、說訓(xùn)練提高聽、說技巧；復(fù)習(xí)鞏固有關(guān)外貌、性格、行為習(xí)慣及愛好的短語，能夠用used to 結(jié)構(gòu)談?wù)撊宋镞^去的特點(diǎn)、描述或詢問過去的情況。 
B. 文化品格：通過對(duì)相貌、性格、習(xí)慣、喜好的今昔對(duì)比，感受發(fā)生在身邊的一系列變化，學(xué)會(huì)不斷的自我完善自我發(fā)展，培養(yǎng)關(guān)愛之心、積極向上的心態(tài)，感恩父母、感恩家人。 
C．思維品質(zhì)：通過對(duì)相貌、性格、喜好的今昔對(duì)比,學(xué)會(huì)如何正確的評(píng)判他人，體會(huì)親情的可貴，知道如何以合適的方式感恩父母。 D. 學(xué)習(xí)能力： 
掌握聽說策略，培養(yǎng)學(xué)生聽說綜合能力；通過采用自主探究及小組合作對(duì)話、表演相結(jié)合的方式，培養(yǎng)團(tuán)隊(duì)合作的精神，主動(dòng)參與語言實(shí)踐的意識(shí)和習(xí)慣。 3. 教學(xué)重點(diǎn)和難點(diǎn)： 
a. 生詞：ant, insect  句型：What did you use to…? Did you use to…? Yes, I did./ No, I didn’t. I used to… 
b. 引導(dǎo)學(xué)生通過聽力材料前后邏輯聯(lián)系獲取文本信息。 c. 學(xué)會(huì)用used to對(duì)相貌、性格、習(xí)慣、喜好進(jìn)行今昔對(duì)比,提高學(xué)生聽說綜合能力。     4. 教學(xué)方法:

Step 1: Greeting  Good afternoon, boys and girls. Welcome to Tina’s class. Today, we’ll come to Unit 4 I used to be afraid of the dark Section B (1a-1e).  
設(shè)計(jì)意圖：教師與學(xué)生簡(jiǎn)短問候,然后進(jìn)入本課的學(xué)習(xí)。 
Step 2: Lead in: Would you like to enjoy a song? As the song expresses, everyone is always changing. The first kind of change is in the 
appearance. Can you show me some words about it? (Show some colorful cards to share the words about the appearance) Can you guess who she is? Yes, you’re so smart. It’s me. I used to be short but now I am tall. Can you say something about the pictures with used to…but now. Do you think the appearance is the most important? Of course not. We shouldn’t judge a person only by the appearance. We should judge a person by what he/she does. Personality may be more important. Another kind of change is in personality. (Show some colorful cards to share the words about the personality) I used to be lazy but now I am hard-working. Can you say something about the pictures with used to…but now. Besides the change in the appearance and personality, a third of change is in hobby. What am I doing? I like listening to music now. Can you guess what I used to like? I used to like painting pictures but now I like listening to music.  設(shè)計(jì)意圖： 以聽歌、展示詞匯卡、老師生活照及其他圖片等形式激發(fā)學(xué)生的好奇心和興趣，復(fù)習(xí)用used to對(duì)外貌、性格的今昔對(duì)比，引出學(xué)生對(duì)喜好變化的表達(dá)，同時(shí)學(xué)會(huì)如何正確的評(píng)判他人（不能以貌取人）。 
Step2： Work on 1a 
I like dogs now. But can you guess what I used to like. I used to like ants and other insects. What about you? Among the four things, what did you use to like? 
 
                    
             
                    
                            設(shè)計(jì)意圖：通過談?wù)摾蠋熛埠玫淖兓�，激起學(xué)生對(duì)自己喜好變化的表達(dá)欲；同時(shí)處理新詞ant和insect. Step 3: Work on 1b 
What other things did you use to like or hate？Write sentences in the box. Then ask your classmates the question and fill in the chart. Maybe the sentences will help you.（hand out the forms） 
設(shè)計(jì)意圖：在學(xué)生自主探究的基礎(chǔ)上，學(xué)會(huì)與同伴合作對(duì)話，進(jìn)一步用used to…but now表達(dá)喜好變化，主動(dòng)參與語言實(shí)踐。 Step3：Play a guessing game 
According to the description with used to…now.., try to guess who he/she is. If you can get the answer, just stand up as quickly as possible. I’ll make an example for you.  
設(shè)計(jì)意圖：通過游戲比賽，活躍課堂氣氛，激發(fā)學(xué)生的興趣，操練句型的同時(shí)，讓其從成功人士身上提取正能量，擁有積極向上的心態(tài)，提高課堂的有趣性和文化性。 Step 4: Work on 1c 
Would you like to be a person like them? If you want to, you must study hard from now on. Do you like your school life? You will listen to a dialogue between a boy and a girl. Can you guess what they will talk about? Maybe the sentences will help you. Let’s read them. Listen and check the sentences you hear. 
設(shè)計(jì)意圖：通過讓學(xué)生預(yù)測(cè)聽力對(duì)話的內(nèi)容，激發(fā)他們的好奇心，提高他們的想象力，增加練習(xí)答案的準(zhǔn)確性。 Step 5：Work on 1d 
Listen again. What do the girl and the boy say about things in the past and now? Fill in the chart. Here’s a listening tip for you: just write the first one or two letters of the word while listening and complete it later. 設(shè)計(jì)意圖：掌握聽說策略，培養(yǎng)提高學(xué)生聽說綜合能力。 Step 6: Role play 
Have you ever found not only you but also your family have changed a 
 
                    
             
                    
                            lot? Work in groups, do the role play: one is the reporter, the others are the interviewees. Talk about the changes in your family.  
Parents have given all the good things to you. Now they’re becoming older and older. What should you do? What is family? (Enjoy the video) Please speak it loudly. Father and mother I love you. Please love your parents, love your family.

1. Make 5 sentences with used to…  
2. If you can, try making a survey about the changes around you. Find out who has changed most? Maybe the sentences will help you to do the report. 
設(shè)計(jì)意圖：分層布置作業(yè)，學(xué)生依據(jù)自己的實(shí)際情況進(jìn)行選做，讓不同水平學(xué)生學(xué)有所獲，從而提高英語學(xué)習(xí)興趣。 Step 8：Summary
