一、教學目標
通過本節課的學習,同學們能夠: 1.梳理過去進行時態的結構和功能。 (學習理解) 2.理解和運用過去進行時談論自己和他人在過去某段時間內發生的 事情。 (應用實踐)
3.能夠將過去進行時運用到真實的生活情境中,并分享自己的生活經 歷。 (遷移創新)
二、教學重點:
1.過去進行時態的結構和用法。 2.能夠用英語談論過去發生的難忘的事情,并表達自己的生活經歷。
三、教學難點:
1. 準確地運用過去進行時談論過自己的生活經歷。

五、教學過程
Step 1 Warming-up
1. 出示演員劉昊然的圖片引出本課主人公。
2. 劉昊然在《唐人街探案》中飾演偵探秦風,引出新詞 detective。
3. 展示圖片,向學生提問題。
(1) What is he doing?
He is running/taking photos/calling up his friend/answering the phone
now.
Step2 Lead in
1. 設置場景一:Mr.Smith was asking Qin Feng for help.
My diamond was stolen last night. It is a present for my wife. It ’s very important for me. Could you please help me find it?
2. 設置場景二:介紹案發情況,讓學生飾演秦風,根據破案線索,完 成工作日記,找出作案兇手。破獲此案必須完成六項任務,每完成一 項任務,就會獲得一條有利的線索。湊齊六條線索就能破獲此案。
Step 3 Pair work.
( 1)Make a short dialogue with your deskmate. (同桌間問答)
A: What were you doing at 8 :00 last night?

(3) Find the same forms in these sentences. (在這些句子中找出相同 的結構)
The past continuous tense
Question Form: What be(was/were) sb doing at a past moment? Form: be(was/were)+doing
Meaning: Things were happening at a past moment.
(4) 火眼金睛:找出不屬于過去進行時的時間狀語
(5) Interview your classmates.(采訪你的同學) A:What were you doing at 2 :00 last night?
B:I was doing my homework.
報道線索 (報道出你所采訪的結果)
Yesterday ,Li Ming was doing his homework at 2:00.
Xiao Li was …at 3:00. …
Step 4 Group work.
根據圖片,用過去進行時完成短文。
From three to four o’clock yesterday afternoon, my classmates were doing different things. Some boys ______________ on the playground. Jack ________________ in the music hall. Some girls were running. A group of handsome boys ________________while Tom and his desk mate _______________ in the classroom.
Step 5 Fill in the blanks.
Sunday, April 8
There was a case today. Mr Smith’s diamond was missing. He believes it was taken away by someone between 8:00 and 9:00 whenhe was writing an email last night. Step 6 Find out the mistakes and correct them.
My father,my aunt and I had a great time yesterday. At 9 o ’clock yesterday morning, my father and my aunt are playing on the beach and they were takeing some photos. What was I doing at that time?I was studying hard here. At 12:30 we having a big lunch. Zi Bo barbecue(淄博 燒烤) tastes really good.
Step 7 Write down an article about what your family were doing at that time yesterday.

Make three sentences in the past continuous tense.
