Unit 3 My friends  Part A Let’s spell: o-e 
                            Lesson plan 教學(xué)準備： 
瓶裝可樂，便簽本，鼻子和腳趾頭圖片，瓊斯頭像，房子圖片，貼紙，吸鐵石，單詞卡，黏黏球，磁性單詞卡句型條，教學(xué)圖片卡。 
教學(xué)過程： 一 Warm up: 
1. Greeting: Class begins. Good morning, boys and girls.  
2. Song: Now let’s listen to a song and do the actions together. “Head and shoulders, knees and toes.” Well down. 
3. Team symbol:  Look at the two pictures. Nose and toes. Miss Zhao has a small nose. Mr. Jones has big toes. So I’ll divide you into two parts. Nose team and toes team. This is the house for the small nose team. And that is the house for the big toes team.  二 Presentation: 
1. Sharp eyes: At first, let’s play a game together. Please look at the screen carefully. And shout out the word you see as quickly as you can. Ready, go! Dog/box/mom/lot/hot/lost/not/note. 
2. o/o-e: Look at the words. Not, o sounds /ɔ/ n-o-t, not; note, o-e sounds /əu/ n-əu-t, note. Ok, today we’re going to learn unit 3 my friends part A let’s spell: o-e. /əu/ 3. Words:  
1) Note: In my class, we have something important to write down. Look, what’s in my hand? It’s a note. Listen to the tape. And follow it. O-e /əu/ note. Do you have a note? Show me your note please. （第一排逐個同學(xué)讀
該單詞） 
 2）Coke：But where is my note？Oh, it’s under the Coke. The Coke is on the note. O-e /əu/ Coke. Listen to the tape and follow it please. Let’s drink some Coke. (第二排逐個同學(xué)讀該單詞。) 
S.P.: Look at the two pictures: Coke and note, The Coke is on the note. Can you put the Coke on the note, please? (小組讀該句) 
3) Mr. Jones: You know that, Miss Zhao doesn’t like Coke. But someone likes Coke very much. He is Mr. Jones. Listen, O-e, /əu/ Mr. Jones. Please show me your finger gun and shoot Mr. Jones. But if I hide him. You should stand up and shout out the word. Ok? O-e/əu/, Mr. Jones. (手槍擊
打圖片) 
4) Nose: Look, Mr. Jones has a nice nose. Listen, o-e/əu/, nose. Who wants to touch his nose? (第三排齊讀nose) 
S.P.: Look at the beautiful woman. The note is on her nose. Can you put the note on the nose? (分小組讀該句) 
5) Toe: The man put the toe in his nose; the girl put her toes on her nose. Can Mr. Jones put his nose on his toes? （單個同學(xué)練讀該句） 4. Chant: Ha-ha, maybe it’s difficult for him to do that. Let’s chant together. First, listen to the tape three times. And then you can try it by yourselves. After that, please read after the tape. At last, read the chant 
                         
together and do the actions. 三 Practice: 
1. Listen and read the four words: Today we have learned four words. O-e/əu/ note, Coke, Mr. Jones, nose. (師快速出示四樣實物圖，生搶讀) 2. Sticky ball game: Now Who can throw the sticky ball? Read the word which you choose and get points for your team.  
3. Can you try? : After we learn the phonics o-e /əu/. Can you try these words? You have 2 minutes to read the words by yourselves. You four students face to face and read together.  
4. Read the words in the shortest time. : Now I want to check if you remembered the words or not. So let’s see which team can read all the words in the shortest time. 
 5. Find the difference. : We have learned phonics “o and o-e”. Can you find the difference between them? Look at these words. Where is their home? Can you help them? 四 Check: 
1. Read, listen and tick. Open your books and turn to page 26. Please look at part 2. Read the words first. And then listen and tick the right words. 2. Listen, circle and write. Now please look at part 3, Listen, circle the right letter, and write down the right word. 
3. Fun for reading. You did a good job. At last let’s read a fun story. And then fill in the blanks together. 
 
                    
             
                    
                             
五 Summary: Today we have learned the phonics o-e/əu/, and find the difference between o-e/əu/ and o/ɔ/. Let’s read the words together.  六 Homework  
1. Listen and repeat for 10 minutes. 聽讀第26面課文10分鐘； 2. Copy the sentence patterns three times. 抄寫以下句子各三遍。 Old Mr. Jones put the Coke on the note.  Old Mr. Jones put the note on his nose.
