教學背景分析
Analysis of the the Teaching Material
This story talks about the monkeys and the crocodile. According to
the story,the monkeys want to eat the peaches on the trees across the river, but they can't swim.A crocodile wants to help them, yet he doesn't really want to give a hand.The clever mother monkey refuses the crocodile. Analysis of the Students:
Students of Grade 5 have learned English for 3 years. There are few new words in the story. Thus, it is not very difficult for students to understand the story and express their ideas.
Additionally, it is a good way to learn English by reading stories. Students are interested in the story and they will be active in class.
However, students may have some difficulties in presenting the story. Thus, it is necessary for the teacher to spend more time on guidance and encouragement . Teaching Aims: 1. Knowledge aims:
