Unit 5 You’re supposed to shake hands.(第1課時)教學設計

一、課標解讀:
本節課的課型為聽說課,要求學生在聽力輸入的同時能對信息進行由簡單到多層次的處理,聽后能達到用正確的目標語言來完成語言輸出和語言交流活動的目標。在學完本單元之后,學生將會正確運用be supposed /expected to的結構來談論應該或被期望做某事。
二、教材分析:
本單元談論的話題是customs。Section A圍繞文化禮儀的話題展開,談論不同國家在不同情境下的文化習俗,本節課為本單元Section A第一課時,課型為聽說課。本部分的核心句型是supposed to do和被be expected to do,要求學生能夠大致聽懂描述有關國家文化禮儀的簡單介紹,能夠在聽、讀中獲取相關信息,并能模仿輸入的語言,針對各國風俗習慣進行詢問及回答,恰當的進行語言輸出。
三、教學目標
(一)知識目標
1. Help the students use these words and expressions correctly:
New words: custom bow kiss greet
2. Help the students to use the target language to correctly:
---What are people in ...supposed to do when they meet for the first time?
--- They’re supposed/expected to ...
(二) 能力目標
Help the students to use the new words and target language to talk about the different customs in different countries.
(三)情感態度與文化意識:
讓學生了解各國文化背景、禮儀習俗,學會在不同場合的得體表現,提升跨文化意識。
四、重難點
重點:了解各國禮儀方面的差異,學會用be supposed to 和be
expected to句式詢問習俗。
難點:正確運用 be supposed to 和be expected to句式對他人提
出合理、可行的建議。
五、教學方法
情景教學法, 任務型教學法
七、評價設計:
1.教師的課堂語言評價。
2.利用controled, semi-controled practice, pair work、group work的交流展示活動等方式進行評價。
八、教學過程:
Step One Lead-in
1. 課前播放視頻
2. From the video, we can see many greeting manners ,shaking hands, kissing,…and so on. And this is the first time we meet each other. How would you like to greet me? (ask Several Ss)So this girl, would you like to shake hands me? Would you like to hug me? Would you like to kiss me?
Step Two Presentation
1. Free Talk: what other greeting mannners do you know in the world?
2. Words Learning: Learn some greeting manners
3. Guessing Game
4. Sentence Pattern presentation: Show a map ,以China為例,引出句型:
---what are people in China supposed to do when they meet for the first time? ---They’re supposed to shake hands.
5. Finish 1a:try to match the countries with customs
