一、教材分析
本單元以Food Festival 為主題。本話題是在前兩個話題的基礎(chǔ)上,繼續(xù)學習與飲食相關(guān)的內(nèi)容,包括訂餐、接單、用餐等日常功能用語以及對比事物的表達法等。
本節(jié)課的課型是復(fù)習課,主要活動為Section D-1a,1b和Project 部分。結(jié)合教材內(nèi)容,本課的設(shè)計主題是: Reading for writing。即通過1a的文段閱讀,激活學生對相關(guān)舊知的記憶,滲透閱讀的技巧,挖掘文本的深層次含義,啟迪學生的思維,在看、聽、說、讀、想的基礎(chǔ)上,為最終的寫做好鋪墊。先由討論健康問題導(dǎo)入1a的閱讀。完成Pre-reading習題之后,首先速讀文章,理解大意。然后將1b分解為不同層次的閱讀任務(wù),在逐一完成閱讀任務(wù)的同時提醒學生閱讀策略:閱讀時劃出中心句幫助理解文章。在Project環(huán)節(jié)里,學生討論健康飲食習慣就如何健康飲食提出個人建議。在Writing環(huán)節(jié)里,學生需要運用1a閱讀和Project討論的信息完成一篇有關(guān)健康飲食的書面表達,達到語言輸出的目的。
二、學情分析
八(8)班學生共43人,其中男生18人,女生25人。大部分學生活潑好動,好奇心強,思維活躍。但就總體而言,大部分學生英語基礎(chǔ)及各方面能力極其薄弱,英語語感弱;學習積極性不高,學習興趣不濃,沒有養(yǎng)成良好的學習習慣;學習自主性差,被動學習。教師要在充分了解學生的情況下,采取一定的措施幫助學生夯實基礎(chǔ),同時提高他們的學習積極性,培養(yǎng)良好的學習習慣,為學生今后的學習打下堅實的基礎(chǔ)。
三、教學目標: 1. 知識目標:
(1)學習并掌握新詞匯:regularly, diet,in short, not only…but (also)… (2)能回憶并說出、寫出所學食物名稱的詞;
(3)能運用如何提建議的句型談?wù)摻】碉嬍臣捌渲匾裕?nbsp;

(1)能讀懂有關(guān)談?wù)摻】碉嬍臣捌渲匾缘亩涛模R別主題,并獲取主要信息;
(2)能在教師的幫助下用簡單的語言闡述健康飲食的重要性; (3)能擬出文章的題目,找出各段的中心句; (4)能寫出簡單的關(guān)于健康飲食及其重要性的短文; 3. 情感目標
(1)激發(fā)學生對英語學習的興趣,培養(yǎng)良好的學習習慣:如課前學習和自主學習等;
(2)學生通過本節(jié)課的學習,懂得辨別健康和不健康食物,從而懂得如何健康飲食,提高他們的健康衛(wèi)生意識。

教學難點:讀后就相關(guān)話題進行寫作:如何謀篇布局 五、教學方法:
根據(jù)八年級學生的心理特點,本課擬主要采用任務(wù)型教學法、情景教學法進行,采取先學后教的策略,讓學生從中體驗、理解、感悟和習得知識。為了有效激活課堂氣氛,同時采用游戲、競爭和互動方式教學,體現(xiàn)教師為主導(dǎo)、學生為主體的教學原則。

Step 1 Warming-up and lead-in
1. Greeting to help students relax to get ready for the class. 2. Set a shooting game to lead in. Click on the right can:
Which is the most important? Clothes, food or houses?
3. Lead to the new lesson. Show the learning aims and tell student what they will have group work in learning.
【設(shè)計意圖】通過師生間閑聊式的問候幫助學生放松心情,做好上課的準備。同時設(shè)置一個學生熟悉的彈弓射擊游戲讓學生進行選擇,順勢引入本課主題。這樣能極大地吸引學生的注意力,激發(fā)他們學習的興趣,讓他們帶著好奇心期待本課的學習。向?qū)W生展示學習目標,可以讓他們對學習心中有數(shù),消除學習的緊張心理。
Step 2 Pre-reading
1. Group work: Play a game, choose the lucky red bag, say out the names of food or drinks.
【設(shè)計意圖】通過設(shè)置學生熟悉的搶紅包游戲,點燃學生的參與熱情,同時培養(yǎng)他們的團隊意識和競爭意識。
2. Task 1: To be a good speaker. (1)Free talk:
What's your favorite food? Why?
What do you think are healthy food and drinks? (2)Look at the picture and discuss.
Look at a picture of a fat boy. Present his eating habits, let student discuss whether his eating habits healthy or not.Then lead students to use some sentence patterns to give him some suggestions:

(3)Tick and share. Let students tick the healthy eating habits they have and share in the class.
【設(shè)計意圖】通過設(shè)置Task 1 讓學生頭腦風暴,激活舊知,進行口語交際,讓他們有機會發(fā)聲。運用實物和圖片展示現(xiàn)身說法讓學生辨別健康食品與不健康食品,飲食習慣對健康的影響,引導(dǎo)學生要選擇健康的食物和養(yǎng)成良好的飲食習慣。這樣學生可看,可說,可想,由淺入深,步步推進。
Step 3 While-reading Task 2 To be a fast reader.
1. Let student read the passage and complete some tasks. (1) How much advice is there in the passage? (2) Circle the introduction and conclusion part. (3) Underline the topic sentences of Paragraphs 2-4. 2. Check the answers and point out the fast reading skills.
【設(shè)計意圖】通過設(shè)置閱讀任務(wù),培養(yǎng)學生速讀能力,教會他們尋找關(guān)鍵詞等速讀技巧,消除他們的畏難情緒。
