單元分析:
本單元是go for it 八年級(jí)上冊(cè)第一單元第三課時(shí)。以Can you come to my party?這一問(wèn)題展開(kāi)話(huà)題,進(jìn)行教學(xué)活動(dòng),使學(xué)生能夠從形式上從口頭對(duì)話(huà)發(fā)出邀請(qǐng),接受邀請(qǐng)和拒絕邀請(qǐng),逐步過(guò)渡到邀請(qǐng)函的寫(xiě)作。 學(xué)情分析:
學(xué)生已經(jīng)經(jīng)過(guò)前面兩個(gè)課時(shí)的學(xué)習(xí)對(duì)這個(gè)話(huà)題的相關(guān)詞匯和短語(yǔ)有一定的知識(shí)儲(chǔ)備。這個(gè)班的同學(xué)能力較高,有一定的詞匯積累,他們有能力也愿意學(xué)習(xí)更多的知識(shí)。我上課更愿意從他們身邊的事例為話(huà)題,鼓勵(lì)他們更多的表達(dá)自己的想法,設(shè)計(jì)一些比課本活動(dòng)更具挑戰(zhàn)性的活動(dòng)。 知識(shí)目標(biāo):
1. 熟練掌握以下詞匯:
Weekday the day after tomorrow the day before yesterday
2.回顧并掌握以下有關(guān)時(shí)間的表達(dá)法: --What’s today? --It’s Tuesday the 13th. -- What’s tomorrow? --It’s Wednesday the 14th. --What was yesterday? --It was Monday the 12th. 3.能夠口頭上發(fā)出邀請(qǐng),接受邀請(qǐng),拒絕邀請(qǐng)。 能力目標(biāo):
1. 學(xué)生能夠運(yùn)用目標(biāo)語(yǔ)言學(xué)會(huì)發(fā)出邀請(qǐng),接受邀請(qǐng)及禮貌的拒絕邀請(qǐng)。 2.學(xué)生能夠通過(guò)小組練習(xí)培養(yǎng)合作能力和交際能力。 情感目標(biāo):
學(xué)會(huì)合理安排時(shí)間,做到勞逸結(jié)合;學(xué)會(huì)有禮貌地邀請(qǐng)別人, 有禮貌地接受邀請(qǐng)或拒絕邀請(qǐng),做一個(gè)有禮貌的人; 教學(xué)過(guò)程:
Step 1 Review the days in a week ,months, and ordinal numbers from 1st to 31st . T:Let’s have a quiz.
How many days are there in a week? How many months are in a year? What is the first day of the week? When is Children’s Day?
目的:活躍課堂并復(fù)習(xí)上學(xué)期學(xué)詞匯過(guò)的有關(guān)時(shí)間的。 Step2:
T: Look at the calendar.
Ask: --What day is today? --It’s Tuesday. --What’s the date today? --It’s December 13th. --What’s today?
--It’s Tuesday the 13th .
目的:學(xué)會(huì)新句型并熟知具體日期的另外一種表達(dá)方法。 Step 3:
First write these words below the correct dates on the calendar in 1a.
and then students read the words together.
today tomorrow yesterday the day after tomorrow weekend the day before yesterday weekday Step 4:
1. Introduce Andy to Students
2. Work in a group of four and guess what Andy does on weekdays.
目的:小組合作以頭腦風(fēng)暴的形式盡可能多的列舉出作為學(xué)生的Andy通常在工作日會(huì)有哪些活動(dòng),復(fù)習(xí)學(xué)過(guò)的詞組,為后面的設(shè)計(jì)做語(yǔ)言積累。 Step 5: Look at the phrases and classify them Ask them what they can see from the picture
Tell them life is combined with hard work and good rest. 目的:培養(yǎng)學(xué)生合理規(guī)劃自己的時(shí)間的能力。 Step6:watch a video and show them answers.
目的:訓(xùn)練學(xué)生的第一個(gè)關(guān)注點(diǎn),無(wú)論是閱讀還是聽(tīng)力一定要關(guān)注事件本身。(What) Step 7:Ask students:
“what do you think of his life?” “What do you think of Andy?”
“What’s your idea of his schedule?’ Answers will vary, For example, Health is the most important.
Being well-organized is a valuable skill. Spare sometime for yourself
目的:訓(xùn)練學(xué)生獨(dú)立思考的思維品質(zhì),讓他們學(xué)會(huì)合理規(guī)劃自己的時(shí)間,使得英語(yǔ)不光是一種交流的工具更需要培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的批判性思維和創(chuàng)新思維. Step 8:
On weekends , Andy wants to play tennis with his friend Vince . 1.Can Vince play tennis with Andy? Circle Yes or No 2.Match Vince’s activities with the days
目的:對(duì)本節(jié)課的重點(diǎn)知識(shí)進(jìn)行初步輸入,發(fā)出邀請(qǐng)及禮貌的拒絕邀請(qǐng)。 Step9:Work in pairs and make a similar dialogue 目的:半掌控操練,熟悉目標(biāo)語(yǔ)言。 Step10:Let’s play a “changing face”
目的:學(xué)生需要根據(jù)笑臉哭臉的切換,及時(shí)調(diào)整自己的回答,訓(xùn)練他們的思維靈活性。 Step11:Make your weekend schedule and remember that weekend is also a time with friends. So make sure you can invite someone to enjoy the weekends with you.
目的:綜合性任務(wù)。是學(xué)生能夠把本節(jié)課所學(xué)運(yùn)用到平時(shí)的學(xué)習(xí)生活中來(lái)。
