Review “be going to/be doing”by a movie ticket
Students look at this ticket and ask what they want to know about this ticket using the structure “be going to /be doing”
T:What are you going to do tonight?
S1:I’m just going to do my homework
T: Look ,this is my movie ticket.
  Look at this ticket ,What do you want to ask me about this ticket?
S1:What are you going to do tonight?
T: I’m going to see a film.
S2:Where are you going to see the film?
T:I’m going to the Wanda International Cinema.
S3:Who are you going with?
T:I’m going with my husband.
S4:When is the film starting?
T:It’s starting at six thirty.

Let’s students share a part of Mr Bean ‘s video
Then answer the questions
T: Who is the hero?
Ss: Mr Bean.
T:What dose he want to express?
Ss: afraid ,nervous.
T;Yes,he is fear and nervous.
  How do you know that?

T:What did the man want to do?
Ss: He wanted to get a free ride.
T:Yes ,you are right.But how did he do to get a free ride?
Ss: He put out his hand with his thumb raised.
T:Can you do this gesture?
Ss:Yes.
T:Do you know any other meaning of this gesture?
Ss: good/great
T:When I act like this to you,I mean you have done a good job.
  There are some thumbs in my hands ,today we have four groups .each students if you did a good job ,you can get a great ,thumb for your group,Ok.so Each group should introduce your group first.
Tsinghua Group:My name is ...,Our group is Tsinghua group.Come on Tsinghua group .(Come on!)
Harvard Group:My name is ...,Our group is Harvard group. Come on Harvard group.(come on)
Jinqiao Group:My name is ..., Our group is Jinqiao group.Come on Jinqiao group.(come on)

 我校的生源主要農(nóng)村學(xué)生,特點是優(yōu)生少,差生多;主動學(xué)習(xí)的少,被動、應(yīng)付學(xué)習(xí)的多;家長關(guān)心學(xué)生的少,督促學(xué)習(xí)的更少,加上英語學(xué)科的特殊性,缺少語言環(huán)境,需要讀背的多,所以,我校九年級學(xué)生英語的總體情況不太理想。
