3. Intensive reading. A. Answer the questions. 1) Why was Sue's dad easy to buy for? 2) Why did Sue knit a scarf for Mum? 3) Did Sue's mum like the present? B. Learn the new words. 1) Look at the pictures and guess the words. 2) Match the words with the meanings in the context. 3) Handle some phrases and sentences. 4. Sum up some reading strategies. Such as, predicting, skimming and scanning,intensive reading, guessing the meaning of the new words, master the collocation of the phrases and sentences. |
