本課分析 
本課是一節(jié)聽說課。本課提供了新的語言知識(shí)環(huán)境，是本單元知識(shí)和內(nèi)容的擴(kuò)展。課堂任務(wù)應(yīng)側(cè)重培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的聽說和語言實(shí)踐能力。 
1a-1d以學(xué)習(xí)、鞏固形容詞為主要內(nèi)容。1c提供給學(xué)生一份課程表，其中包括學(xué)習(xí)和各種活動(dòng)的安排，復(fù)習(xí)鞏固了以前學(xué)過的科目、時(shí)間、日期和活動(dòng)詞匯。1d是在前面的聽力活動(dòng)的基礎(chǔ)上的一個(gè)口語訓(xùn)練活動(dòng)。 
本節(jié)課的學(xué)習(xí)貼近學(xué)生的學(xué)習(xí)生活，所含功能句都是日常用語，主要通過聽力訓(xùn)練和情景對(duì)話，鞏固新知，增進(jìn)學(xué)生之間的了解和友情。本課是本單元的第三課時(shí)，在整個(gè)單元中起著承上啟下的作用。    
學(xué)情分析 
通過對(duì)前兩課時(shí)的學(xué)習(xí)，學(xué)生對(duì)what/ why/ when句型已經(jīng)有了一定的認(rèn)識(shí)和掌握。大部分學(xué)生可以借助其核心句型獲取信息并且就相關(guān)的信息進(jìn)行話題討論。因此，本課教學(xué)內(nèi)容難度不高，學(xué)生易于接受。同時(shí)這一話題貼近學(xué)生實(shí)際生活，能夠激發(fā)學(xué)生濃厚的學(xué)習(xí)興趣，實(shí)際教學(xué)中，應(yīng)該注意面向全體學(xué)生，鼓勵(lì)學(xué)生大膽開口。  
教學(xué)目標(biāo) 
1. 學(xué)生能夠熟練掌握和運(yùn)用描述學(xué)科特點(diǎn)的形容詞及其反義詞。 
2. 學(xué)生能夠熟練運(yùn)用what, why, when等特殊疑問句完成有關(guān)學(xué)科的討論。同時(shí)能夠掌握
由第一人稱向第三人稱轉(zhuǎn)換的方法。 
3. 學(xué)生能聽懂含有本課重點(diǎn)詞匯和目標(biāo)語言的聽力材料，并在聽的過程中做到有目的地獲
取有效信息。  
教學(xué)重點(diǎn) 
1. 表示學(xué)科特點(diǎn)的形容詞。 
2. 運(yùn)用what, why, when等特殊疑問句進(jìn)行有關(guān)學(xué)科的討論。  
教學(xué)難點(diǎn) 
運(yùn)用所學(xué)知識(shí)完成聽力任務(wù)，學(xué)會(huì)描述自己喜歡的一門科目并給出理由。  
課時(shí)安排 1課時(shí)  
教學(xué)方法 
情境交際法、小組合作探究法、自主學(xué)習(xí)與合作學(xué)習(xí)相結(jié)合。  
教學(xué)過程 
Step 1. Revision 
Review some words( like school subjects and 7 days in a week),some sentences we learned before. 
1. Say English words according to the Chinese meanings. 
 
                    
             
                    
                            2. Look the pictures and say school subjects. 3. 7 days in a week. (from Monday to Sunday) 4. Translate the Chinese into English. 
(設(shè)計(jì)意圖：回顧之前學(xué)習(xí)過的與本課內(nèi)容相關(guān)的單詞與句子，為本課的新知學(xué)習(xí)做鋪墊。)  
Step 2. Presentation. 
1. Ask Ss to read the description words in 1a. 
2. Say the Chinese meanings of these description words. 
3. Finish 1a. Match the words on the left with their opposites on the right. 4. Check the answers. 
(設(shè)計(jì)意圖：通過齊讀，說出漢語意思等形式來學(xué)習(xí)描述學(xué)科特點(diǎn)的形容詞，充分發(fā)揮學(xué)生的自主學(xué)習(xí)能力。學(xué)習(xí)內(nèi)容貼近生活，學(xué)生會(huì)很容易掌握重點(diǎn)詞匯。)  
Step 3. Listen to 1b and 1c. 
1. Play the recording for the first time. Ss check the words they hear in 1a. 2. Check the answers in 1b. 
3. Look at 1c and teach Ss how to see a schedule. Remind Ss to pay attention to the activities 
and the time. 
4. Play the recording for the second and third time. Ask Ss to circle the classes David talks 
about. 
5. Check the answers in 1c. 
(設(shè)計(jì)意圖：本步驟中難點(diǎn)是1c. 通過師生一起瀏覽課程表，教師詢問學(xué)生課程表中有幾天？每天有幾節(jié)課？每天都有什么課？等問題，達(dá)到學(xué)生會(huì)看并看懂課程表的目的，這樣就降低了此部分聽力的難度。通過聽的方式輸入本課功能句，學(xué)習(xí)句型，達(dá)成知識(shí)目標(biāo)。) 
 
Step 4. Pair work: work on 1d. 
1. Work in pairs. Talk about David’s favorite subject. Fill in the blanks. 2. Check the answers. 
(設(shè)計(jì)意圖：讓學(xué)生動(dòng)筆寫一寫以達(dá)到對(duì)聽力內(nèi)容的加深，其次，通過同桌兩人做對(duì)話練習(xí)以達(dá)到對(duì)聽力內(nèi)容復(fù)述的效果。) 
 
Step 5.  Group work. 
1. Work in groups of four and make a new conversation. 
For example: 
A: What’s your favorite subject? B: My favorite subject is science. A: Why do you like science? B: Because it’s fun.  A: When is the class? B: It’s on Wednesday. 
C: What’s B’s favorite subject? D: B’s favorite subject is science.

2. Role-play the conversation. Ask some groups to act their conversations out in front of the 
class.
