教學(xué)目標(biāo)
(1)知識(shí)目標(biāo):學(xué)生能夠掌握重要的單詞和短語(yǔ);能夠用現(xiàn)在完成時(shí)表達(dá)新句子。
(2)能力目標(biāo):學(xué)生能夠用已經(jīng)學(xué)過(guò)的知識(shí)預(yù)測(cè)一些新信息,培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的閱讀能力。
(3)情感目標(biāo):學(xué)會(huì)表達(dá)自己對(duì)家鄉(xiāng)的情感以及建設(shè)家鄉(xiāng)的遠(yuǎn)大抱負(fù)。
2學(xué)情分析
本單元是在八九單元的基礎(chǔ)上,進(jìn)一步強(qiáng)化現(xiàn)在完成時(shí)的運(yùn)用。學(xué)生已有一定的基礎(chǔ),能夠描述對(duì)周圍事物的情感,恰當(dāng)?shù)乇磉_(dá)感受,能掌握延續(xù)性動(dòng)詞的用法,并在具體情境中加以運(yùn)用。八年級(jí)的學(xué)生比較活躍,在不同的活動(dòng)形式中培養(yǎng)合作精神,提高其綜合運(yùn)用語(yǔ)言的能力,同事讓學(xué)生們通過(guò)閱讀有關(guān)離鄉(xiāng)人對(duì)家鄉(xiāng)的談?wù)?理解體會(huì)思鄉(xiāng)的情感。
3教學(xué)重、難點(diǎn)
(1)學(xué)會(huì)如何運(yùn)用本單元的閱讀策略:使用以前的知識(shí)。

Enjoy a song about hometown.
Use the song to lead in to the topic “hometown”.
教學(xué)意圖:用一首關(guān)于故鄉(xiāng)的歌導(dǎo)入到故鄉(xiāng)這個(gè)話題,簡(jiǎn)單介紹過(guò)去十堰人背井離鄉(xiāng),為后面的學(xué)習(xí)任務(wù)做鋪墊。
活動(dòng)2【活動(dòng)】pre-reading
1. Have students talk about three questions before they read, teacher write down their answers on the Bb.
Q1: Why do millions of Chinese leave the countryside every year?
Q2: How often do you think these people visit their hometowns?
Q3: What new buildings does the government usually build in towns and villages?
2. Have students skim the passage to find out if their answers are the same as in the passage.
教學(xué)意圖:讓學(xué)生運(yùn)用已學(xué)過(guò)的知識(shí)預(yù)測(cè)文章內(nèi)容,然后瀏覽文章,檢驗(yàn)預(yù)測(cè)答案是否和文章中的信息一樣。貫徹運(yùn)用了本單元的閱讀策略,培養(yǎng)了學(xué)生的閱讀能力。
活動(dòng)3【活動(dòng)】fast reading
1. Read the passage quickly, match each part with the main idea.
教學(xué)意圖:訓(xùn)練學(xué)生快速閱讀文章的能力,通過(guò)找每段的中心大意,幫學(xué)生整體把握文章結(jié)構(gòu)
2. work in pairs, find expressions in the passage that have the same meanings as these words and phrases.
教學(xué)意圖:在文中找出與所給單詞或短語(yǔ)有相同意思的表達(dá),用已經(jīng)學(xué)過(guò)的知識(shí)解釋新知識(shí),為學(xué)生理解文章解決了障礙。
活動(dòng)4【活動(dòng)】Careful Reading
1. Read the 1st paragraph together and complete the information of the main character.

教學(xué)意圖:通過(guò)完成表格,學(xué)生可以清晰地把握第一段的文本信息,了解主人公的基本情況。

Show students some pictures.
教學(xué)意圖: 圖片展示,激發(fā)學(xué)生的討論興趣。在討論中,認(rèn)識(shí)到家鄉(xiāng)發(fā)生了巨變,自豪之情油然而生,也引導(dǎo)學(xué)生努力學(xué)習(xí),為將來(lái)建設(shè)自己的家鄉(xiāng)貢獻(xiàn)力量。
2. Read the passage again, close the book, and complete the summary with words from the passage.
教學(xué)意圖:回顧本節(jié)課所學(xué)內(nèi)容。
活動(dòng)6【作業(yè)】Homework
Write an article about the changes of your hometown.
教學(xué)意圖: 將課堂上的討論形成一篇文章,培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的寫作能力。
