本篇課文以火為主題,圍繞火綜合運用了情態動詞must, mustn’t。學生已經步入五年級,思想都發生了很多轉變,學習積極性不是很高,尤其不愛發言,但是他們在幾年的學習生活中積累了很多英語知識,如果能夠調動他們的學習積極性,會收到良好的效果。
學習 目標 1. 幫助學生學習四會單詞fire; hurt; must; careful; smoke; burn down;(be) careful with,能夠綜合運用句型We must be careful with fire.和We mustn’t play with matches.
2. 使學生懂得用火安全,讓學生明白火的危險性。
3. 掌握must情態動詞的使用。
設計意圖
從幼兒所熟悉的語言環境入手,利用學生已有的認知水平引入
watch TV,觀看火災視頻,導入主題。
重點 難點 教學重點:

【導入】 Part 1: Warm--up
T: Boys and girls. Look ! My name is Ella, so you can call me Ella, Ok?
T: Class begins! Stand up! Hello, boys and girls.
Ss: Hello, Ella. T: There are so many teachers in our class, please say hello teachers.
T: Ok, sit down, please. What do you usually do at home?
Ss: I usually play chess with my grandpa./read a
book/watch TV...
T: Ok, boys and girls. Let’s watch TV first. Ok? 教師播放森林著火的視頻
T: OK! What can you see in this video?
Ss: T: Yes. There is a big fire in the forest. The people get away from the fire. Today we’ll talk about the fire.(板書Fire)
【講授】Fire is dangerous.
T:In this video. What happened?
Ss: 著火了 (The forest is on fire.) T: Is it terrible? Ss: Yes.
T: Why?
S1: Fire can burn down a lot of trees.
S2: Fire can hurt people.
S3: Fire will be produce a lot of smoke to pollute the environment. T:Yes, you are so smart. Sometimes fire is terrible. Fire is dangerous,
too. So we must be careful with fire.
Safety first!
T: Children, what do you know about fire safety?
Look at these pictures.(出示安全標識) Can you tell me what do these signs mean? Ss: (Don’t smoke)
T: (把 Don’t smoke 卡片放到公交車上)I will put it in a bus. Don’t smoke! it means we mustn’t smoke in the bus, yes or no?
Ss: Yes
T:So we mustn’t smoke in public. Ok. If I put the sign in the forest. Don’t smoke! What does it mean?
Ss: We mustn’t smoke in the forest.
T: Great! OK, look this sign, what does it mean? Oh,(指圖片上的火柴)look! Do you know what’s this? It’s a match. Don’t play with matches . What does it mean?
Ss: We mustn’t play with matches .
通過觀看視頻來調動他們視覺,聽覺和觀察力來參與語言活動。
引導學生通過個人思考來引出新
句型,以便教師對新語言點的呈
現更加自然。
從談論公交車上禁止吸煙到談論
森林里禁止吸煙,圍繞目標語開
展活動,既“鞏固新知”,又體現
了語言實際運用的原則。
