教學目標
1. Ss will be able to read, recognize and write the key words: mine, yours, his, hers, ours, theirs; and the sentence patterns:Whose is it? It's . Whose are these/those? They are . What is/are doing? is/are v-ing.
2.Ss will be able to introduce their things.
Ss ability of listening, speaking and writing will be improved.
3. Ss' interest in English learning will be stimulated.
Ss' ability of cooperation will be foretasted by group work.
2學情分析
Ss are in grade 5. They are curious and interested in new things.They have the motivation to find out how to describe things. However, based on the fact that they have learned English for one year not enough. They have a little basic English background knowledge. Therefore T should simplify some of the teaching contents. In addition, they like to play games but they can't focus one thing for to long. So T should attach the importance to playing games and the communication with them, providing them the chances of using English.
3重點難點
1. Key points: Ss will be able to read, recognize and write the key words: mine, yours, his, hers, ours, theirs; and the sentence patterns:Whose is it? It's . Whose are these/those? They are . What is/are doing? is/are v-ing.
2. Difficult point: Ss will be able to describe their things by using the sentence pattern: It's my dog. The dog is mine.

4.1.1學時重點

活動1【導入】Warm-up & Lead-in
1. Greeting.
2. Sing a song—BINGO.
3. Watch a short video about a dog show in Mickey mouse .
活動2【講授】Presentation
1. Review the words: my, your, his, her, our, their.
2. T show a toy dog to present the new word “mine” and the key sentences “It’s my dog. The dog is mine.”
3. Present the new word “yours ” :
T: And how can you introduce my dog? Please listen carefully (play the recording).
Then put the word into the sentence patterns “It's dog. The dog is .” to practice.
4. T show a picture of a dog with a boy in grade 5 to present the new word “his”.
T: Whose dog is it? Let’s listen carefully (play the recording).
Then put the word into the sentence patterns “It's dog. The dog is .” to practice.
(the same way to present the new words: hers, ours, theirs)
活動3【練習】Practice & Production
1. Play a game: passing game--A ball will be passed among the Ss, the student who get the ball will stand up and introduce the toy.
2. Learn more: Present the sentence pattern “A: Whose pen/book… is it? B: It’s her/his/my…pen. The pen is hers/his/mine….”
3. Pair work: make dialogue with your partner by using the sentence pattern “A: Whose pen/book… is it? B: It’s your/his… pen.The pen is yours/his….”
4. Have a chant: Ss chant after T sentence by sentence, then chant by themselves. Ss clap hands at the same time.
5. Exercises: fill in the blanks
1. It's dog.
The dog is . (my, mine)
2. It's not dog.
The dog is . (hers, your)
3. It's bag.
The bag is . (hers, her)
4. It's basketball.
The basketball is . (theirs, their)
5. They’re chairs.
These chairs are . (our, ours)
活動4【作業(yè)】Conclusion
1.Summary: Ss read the key words and key sentences together.
2.Emotional teaching: Love dogs, love our friends.
3. Homework:
(1)Copy the new words and sentences of Page 49 .
(2)Try to talk with your friends in the sentences we have learned today.
